FAQs

face pot

What are your pots made out of?

I make all my pots out of air dry clay, they are then hand painted and varnished so they are water resistant. This means the pots are light in weight but are durable and robust.

How should I take care of my pot?

- Keep plants in their original plastic flowerpots and place inside your clay face pot (take out when watering until it has drained to stop sitting water).

- Wipe clay pots clean using soft damp cloth.

- Do not submerge in water or put in dishwasher.

What packaging does my order come in?

All orders are wrapped in eco bubble wrap and tissue paper, it is then surrounded by more protective packaging within the box. Where possible my packaging materials are either recyclable or  reused to save on waste and unnecessary plastic.

What sizes are your pots?

Mini pot is - 6 x 6 cm

Small pot is 8 x 8 cm

Medium pot is 12 x 12 cm

Large pot is 16 x 16 cm

Utensil pot is 12 x 17cm

Toothbrush pot is 7 x 12cm

As all pots are handmade these measurements are approximate as they can vary slightly due to the individual creative process.

Do you do custom pots?

Yes I have a listing for custom pots, I always advise to message me before you order to check that what you imagine can be done. Then once ordered I will sketch out ideas and we can decide on colours and specific features. This can be different facial features, different colours, an animal character and hand painted designs.

Are your pots food safe?

Yes my pots are food safe, they have to ‘cure’ or set for 30 days but then they can be used to contain food. Please note if buying a lidded pot these are not sealed therefore please do not put food in that can ‘go off’ or deteriorate when not tightly sealed.

When will I receive my order?

For pots and clay ornaments my turnaround is 1-2 weeks unless stated otherwise on an announcement banner at the top of the screen .

How do you decide on the names for your pots?

The first few pots I made I used names that began with the letter ‘P’ (Pascal, Peter and Pablo were first), so now I have started a trend I had to stick to it. Now every new pot I add I always put it to a public vote on my instagram - so come join in.

Do you accept refunds?

I do accept refunds if the item(s) are returned to me within 14 days in resellable condition at a cost to the customer. Postage costs will be deducted from the original price when refunding.
